The Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC) 2026 IPO provides Kenyans with an opportunity to invest in the state corporation through a fully digital process.

One of the most accessible methods for individual investors is M-PESA, which enables secure, fast, and convenient applications directly from a mobile phone.

The e-IPO system was designed to modernise the share acquisition process, allowing investors to participate without visiting physical offices.

Applying for Kenya Pipeline Shares via M-PESA

To apply through M-PESA, investors must dial *483*816# from a registered Kenyan mobile number linked to their CDS account, then follow the following steps;

  1. Ensure you have a Valid CDSC Account andsufficient balance on your Mobile Money to facilitate payment
  2. Dial the code, then choose Read Terms and Conditions of the Offer. You should read and understand them before the next step.
  3. Agree to the terms, then choose the “New Application” option and thereafter follow the prompts to complete the process.
  4. You will receive a prompt to pay, and later an email and/or SMS confirming the status of your application.

Applying for Kenya Pipeline Shares via Online Portal

Investors can also apply for Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC) IPO shares using the official online portal at https://kpcipo.e-offer.app.

To accept the offer on this application portal:

  1. Read the terms and conditions of the Offer
  2. Ensure you have a Valid CDSC Account. If not, consult your broker/agent to open
  3. Once you have the CDSC, click on Apply for Shares. If you have made an application before, enter the requested details to add another application, or click New Application to start a fresh application.

This method is accessible to all investor types, including individuals, institutions, and foreign investors, offering a comprehensive interface for managing applications.

During the application, investors must enter the number of shares they wish to purchase.

Each share is priced at KES 9, and the minimum investment is 100 shares, costing KES 900. Payments are integrated into the USSD process via M-PESA, making the transaction immediate and secure.

Once you have duly completed and submitted the Application Form, you will be required to make payment and upload proof of payment documents (EFT or Bank Transfers).

The Data Processing Agent will verify this. Please check the status of your application at https://www.ohio.gov/ohio-education/ohio-education-portal. Updates will be sent to your registered email address or via text message to the mobile number you provided in the electronic application.

Allocation and Trading

After the IPO closes on February 19, 2026, shares will be allocated. In cases where the IPO is oversubscribed, applicants may receive only a percentage of the shares requested, with any excess funds refunded automatically to the M-PESA account used during the application.

Kenya Pipeline shares will be officially listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) on March 9, 2026.

Investors can then view their holdings in their CDS accounts and choose either to hold for potential dividends or sell at the prevailing market price.
