Belva digital has appointed Serah Katusya the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company.
Through their various social media platforms, the marketing technology company announced the leadership transition noting that Serah would see the company achieve excellence.
“We are thrilled to announce a significant leadership transition within our agency, marking a new chapter in our journey towards excellence in the pan-African market. Serah Mwikali Katusya is joining us as the new CEO!” Belva wrote.
Belva showered its new CEO with praise stating that with over 15 years of experience and an exceptional track record of driving success in the marketing space Serah will lead the company in achieving its goals.
Moreover, Belva announced that Serah will lead the company’s strategy, creative, and media divisions whereas Belva’s founder Fred Kithinzi will take over as the Group CEO with a primary focus on innovation and technology.
“Serah is a seasoned leader with an exceptional track record of driving success in the marketing space for the past 15+ years. She’ll be joining to lead our strategy, creative, and media divisions,” Belva stated.
According to the marketing technology company, this new leadership’s mandate is to position the business as a transformative force in the African market.

Who is Serah Katusya
Serah Mwikali describes herself as a transformational growth leader with over 16 years of experience in building solutions that unlock business and brand growth.
Prior to her new appointment as CEO, Serah worked with, and for some of the biggest brands including Coca-Cola, P&G, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Vodafone, Brand Kenya, KCB Bank, Kenya Tourism Board, Colgate, Unilever, and Airtel.
The Harvad graduate started her career in 2004 as the Brand Executive of Sarova Hotels where she served for 3 years.
Likewise, she served as the Account directors of WPP ScanGroup for another 4 years before moving to the Media Director position in the same firm in 2011.
Her latest position was Managing Director, GroupM East and Central Africa & SSA Coordination Lead which she held for almost 2 years since September 2011.
Serah Katusya did her Advanced Diploma in Mass Communication at the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication and graduated in 2004.
She further studied Professional Marketing at Oxford College of Marketing and went for her Post Graduate Degree Certificate in Business Management, Marketing, and Related Support at the University of Liverpool.
Nonetheless in 2019, the brand strategist furthered her education at Harvard Business School where she did her Senior Executive Leadership Program.
She also holds an executive MBA in Business Strategy, organizational management, Leadership and Social Entrepreneurship from Hult International Business School.
