TotalEnergies Marketing Kenya PLC has announced changes to its board. The company’s Board of Directors in a notice to shareholders, stakeholders and the general public on October 31 announced changes which include the exits of the Chairman and Managing Director.
TotalEnergies Kenya announced the exits of Board Chairman Olagoke Aluko and Managing Director Eric Fanchini who have resigned to take up new roles within the TotalEnergies Group.
The oil marketer wished the former board members the best in their future endeavours.
“The Board of Directors wishes to extend its gratitude to both the outgoing Chairman of the Board, Olagoke Aluko, and the outgoing Managing Director, Eric Fanchini, who resigned to take up new assignments within the TotalEnergies Group, for their dedication, leadership, and invaluable contributions to the growth and success of the Company during their tenure as Directors,” the notice reads.
Following the exits, the company has announced Elodie Luce as the company’s new Director and Chairperson of the company with effect from 23rd August 2024.

Thibault Flichy at the same time has been named as a Director and Managing Director of Total Energies Marketing Kenya PLC with effect from 1st September 2024.
Luce is a graduate of HEC business school and holds a master’s degree in business law from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI).
“With an illustrious career spanning over two decades in finance, law, and corporate governance, Luce brings a wealth of experience and strategic insight to her new role,” said TotalEnergies Kenya.

The new Director has held several high-level positions within TotalEnergies which include Managing Director of TotalEnergies Marketing Congo, and Head of Equity & Financial Governance at TotalEnergies SE.
Luce has also served as Head of Market Intelligence and Prospective, Strategy Division of TotalEnergies Marketing Services SA, and Senior Manager, Mergers & Acquisitions of the African Division, among others.
Preceding this appointment, she was the Vice-President Finance & Corporate Affairs, Africa Division of the company’s Marketing & Services.
Profile of new Managing Director
Thibaut Flichy on his part holds a master’s degree in business from the NOEMA Business School with his strong educational background complementing his extensive professional experience.

Flichy has over 20 years of extensive management experience and has served within TotalEnergies in various capacities.
He previously served as the Vice President of Mobility, Vice President of Africa Retail Network (Marketing and Digital), and Chief Executive Officer of TotalEnergies Marketing Senegal.
The new Managing Director has also served as Chief Executive Officer of TotalEnergies Marketing Burkina Faso, and Commercial Director at TotalEnergies Marketing Burkina Faso, among others.
Prior to the appointment, he was the Program Director for the Electricity Start-up Accelerator at Total Energies.
His deep industry expertise and leadership experience across multiple regions will be instrumental in driving the Company’s operations and expanding its footprint in the Kenyan market.
