KUCCPS-Approved Medical Courses for KCSE Students with C (Plain) and Below

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) provides a list of approved medical courses for Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) students who did not meet the minimum entry grade for university programs.

Students who scored a C plain or below can still pursue health-related courses in various institutions across the country.

These courses offer an alternative pathway for students interested in the health sector and who want to contribute to the healthcare system.

Additionally, the programs provide a mix of theoretical learning and hands-on training to ensure graduates are well-prepared for the workforce.

Some of the key areas of study include community health, medical engineering, health records, pharmaceutical technology, nutrition and dietetics, and medical laboratory sciences.

The institutions offering a Diploma in Community Health include Kisii National Polytechnic, Northeastern National Polytechnic, and Siaya Institute of Technology.

KUCCPS-Approved Diploma Medical-Related Courses

Those offering Diploma in Community Health Level 6 Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) are Bondo Technical Training Institute and Kitale National Polytechnic.

Other courses offered with a grade C Plain, and C Minus are Diploma in Dietetic Management, Health Records and Information Technology, Nutrition and Diet Management, Pharmaceutical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science and Science Laboratory Technology.
