The Kenyatta International Convention Center (KICC) is a government-owned facility that allows both local and international organizers to host conferences, exhibitions, concerts, and corporate events in Nairobi.

It is a national asset that provides structured, professional event services, with standardized booking procedures and a clearly defined pricing system.

KICC remains central to government functions, business forums, trade expos, and tourism-related events.

The center offers a variety of indoor halls and outdoor spaces, each designed for specific event needs, capacities, and technical requirements.

Event Booking Process at KICC

To book a venue at KICC, Interested clients are required to fill out an online event booking form available on the official KICC Event Booking website.

One fills in essential details such as the organizer’s name, organization, contact information, type of event, expected attendance, and preferred dates.

Applicants are also required to specify the type of venue they are interested in, including conference halls, exhibition spaces, outdoor grounds, or specialty facilities such as the rooftop or amphitheater.

Additional requirements, such as catering, audiovisual equipment, security services, and stage setup, must also be indicated at this stage.

Once submitted, the request is reviewed by the KICC events team.

The team checks venue availability and assesses the requirements before issuing a formal quotation.

The quotation outlines the cost based on the selected venue, duration of use, and additional services requested.

Booking is then confirmed once the client accepts the quotation and completes the required payment.
