The KCB Group has announced new job opportunities across nine departments as part of its 2025 recruitment drive.
In a notice on October 9, the group announced that it is seeking qualified professionals with relevant academic credentials, industry experience, and strong leadership skills to enhance operational efficiency and drive strategic growth.

Technology Vendor Manager
The holder of this role is responsible for overseeing the strategic management of technology vendors and optimizing their performance to align with the bank’s goals.
For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in any IT/Business-related field (Required)
- MBA or Msc (Added Advantage)
- Professional qualification/Certification in ITIL Foundation or Project Management (Required)
- Certification in Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or equivalent (Added Advantage)
- Certification in Certified Contract Manager (CCM) or equivalent legal/contracts certification (Added Advantage)
- At least 6 years’ work experience
- At least 6 years’ experience in IT service delivery, IT contract management, or general vendor management
- At least 6 years’ experience in negotiating and managing contract life cycles, with an emphasis on technology or IT service agreements
- At least 3 years’ experience in Project management, sourcing, business analytics, vendor relationship management, procurement, or prior vendor performance management background
- At least 2 years’ experience in managing large complex contracts in one or more IT categories, including hardware, software, service, and communication
- At least 2 years’ experience working with all key departments/internal stakeholders and knowledge of procurement and vendor management practices
- At least 2 years’ experience in project management
- At least 1 year of experience in People Management

Hardware Support Specialist
Reporting to the Manager of End User Hardware, the Hardware Support Specialist will support the deployment of end-user hardware and related software.
The successful applicant should have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in any IT/ Related sciences
- Professional qualification/Certification in MCSE, CompTIA A+
- At least 2 years’ work experience.
- At least 2 years’ knowledge of end-user hardware and related peripherals, and operating systems (Windows, Unix).
- At least 1 year of knowledge of mass deployment and support solutions (cloning, SCCM, patch management); Network Services and protocols; Internetworking Technology; and Active Directory Domain Services
- Experience in Database management systems and Messaging, and Collaboration will be an added advantage

Senior Associate Advisory
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Advisory, the role will be responsible for deal execution within the Advisory unit.
For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:
- A holder of a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution
- Possession of CIFA, CFA, and CPA will be an added advantage
- Possession of a master’s degree in finance, Strategic planning or Business will be an added advantage
- 5 or more years’ Experience in investment banking, Corporate Banking, Private Equity and or structured corporate finance
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in financial modelling
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Credit Analysis/Quants
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Debt /Equity/Structured products transaction structuring and execution
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Team management/leadership

Branch Managers – Meru and Kiambu Branch
Reporting to the Regional Business Manager, the Branch Manager will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, growth and profitability of the branch and implementation of efficient and effective Operational, Risk Management, Customer Service and Sales Culture.
For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following: –
- A University Degree from a recognised university.
- At least 8 years’ experience in general banking
- At least 6 years’ experience as a Branch Manager in a Bank set-up.
- Experience in Sales dealing with High Networth Clients.
- Experience in Credit Analysis and Administration.
- Experience in Bank operations covering Cash Management, Clearing, Accounts and Administration.
- Demonstrated consistent high performance in role(s) held in the last three years
- A thorough knowledge of Retail Banking products and services, and extensive Banking Industry knowledge.
- Excellent high-quality interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills with the ability to network and develop strong business relations
- A good understanding of risk, credit policies and procedures.
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated competencies in championing high-performance management.
- Excellent planning, organisation, problem-solving solving and analytical skills.

Business Analyst
Responsible for eliciting, analysing, validating, specifying, verifying, and managing the business needs of the business stakeholders, including customers and end users.
the successful applicant should have the following: –
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field of study (Required).
- Professional Qualifications in ITIL Foundation, Certified Business Analysis, Professional (CBAP), and TOGAF Certification are an added advantage.
- Professional Qualifications in PRINCE II (Practitioner) / Agile PM / PMI-ACP / Certified Agile Project Manager (IAPM) / Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is an added advantage.
- 2 years of Progressive experience in Information Technology (Essential).
- 1 year of experience in Business analysis and architecture (Essential).
- 1 year of experience in IT Projects (Essential).
- 1 year experience in emerging Technologies (e.g. Mobile, Internet (Desired).
- 1 year experience in banking, Cloud, Microservices, etc (Desired).
- 1 year of experience working in a fast-paced agile environment (Desired)
