Kenya Airports Authority Announces 233 Jobs & 50 Internships

The Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) has announced 233 job vacancies and 50 internship opportunities across various departments.

In an advert on Tuesday, August 8, the KAA invited applications from qualified and interested Kenyans who are self-driven to fill the vacancies. 

According to the notice, the authority seeks to recruit 87 security wardens, 21 bird scouts, 30 apron controllers, and 75 firefighters all in the S3 job grade.

KAA has also invited applications for 50 internship positions also known as the apprenticeship program.

Furthermore, Kenya Airports Authority advertised senor positions in job grade S9 including a corporation secretary or chief legal officer, general manager positions in procurement and logistics, marketing and business development, and in finance.

In the S8 job grade, KAA seeks to recruit 2 managers in charge of Airport operations, and 1 Airport Engineer.

For the S7 job grade, the Authority has called for application of Managerial positions of birds and wildlife control, performance management and change, training and development, pensions each one position.

Moreover, the Authority seeks to recruit an airport engineer, two mechanical engineers, a land surveyor, a chief fire services officer, an airport accountant, and 1 airport manager in Malindi.

Terms and Conditions of Service

For the Corporation Secretary/ Chief Legal Officer and General Manager positions shall be for a three (3) year term renewable subject to satisfactory performance or attainment of mandatory retirement age whichever happens earlier,

Additionally, the internship Program will be for a period of twelve (12) months. The other positions will be on permanent and pensionable terms as per the provisions of the Authority’s Human Resource Policy and Procedures Manual.
