The Kisii Teaching and referral Hospital (KTRH) has announced 168 jobs for unemployed Kenyans to apply.
In a notice published on May 9, the hospital is seeking to recruit interested and qualified individuals for full-time positions, on a three (3) year performance -based renewal contract basis.
The hospital is targeting to hire 60 registered nurses, 15 registered Clinical Officers and 12 Medical Officers (General).
Furthermore, KTRH has openings for 10 General Nurses with a Degree Certificate in Nursing, six Medical Laboratory Technologists, five Anesthetist Nurses and five clinical Officers specializing in Anesthetist roles.
A total of three vacancies for the position of Senior Medical Officers (Emergency Medicine), three Ear Nose Throat (ENT) Nurses and three Bio-Medical Engineering Technologies have also been posted for recruitment.
The Board also seeks to recruit two Clinical Officers (ENT), two Clinical Officers (Ophthalmology) and two Clinical Officers (Psychiatry) and one Consultant Conservative and aesthetic Dental Surgeon.
Additionally, roles advertised requiring one position each include Consultant Clinical Pathologist, Consultant Anatomic Pathologist, Consultant Physician, Consultant Pediatrician, Consultant Radiologists and Bio-Medical Engineer.

Others include General Dental surgeon, Pharmacist, Clinical Officer (Dermatology), Clinical Officer (Chest), Clinical Officer (Nephrology), Consultant General Surgeon, Consultant ENT Surgeon and Consultant Anesthesiologist.
Also, Consultant Pediatric Surgeon, Consultant family Physician, Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon and Consultant Obstetricians and Gynecologist positions are open for applications, aiming to recruit and one candidate each.
Vacancies in Other Departments
However, positions advertised away from the medical department include the position of Human Resource Officers (3 candidates), electricians (3), two plumbers, Security Manager (1) and Finance manager (1).
Further positions of a Manager in Supply Chain Management, ICT Manager, Internal Auditor, Hospitality and House Keeping Manager, Customer Relations Officer, Librarian and Records Management Officer are required one each.
The hospital also advertised one vacancy each for a Partnership and Resource Mobilization Officer and Business Development, Marketing and Public Relations Marketing Officer.

Candidates should clearly indicate the Vacancy No. i.e. JOB APPLICATION – VACANCY number as the subject of their application. Applications sent to the hospital email addresses will not be processed.
