Mount Kenya University (MKU) has announced part time teaching jobs for the 2025/2026 academic year.
In an advert on March 19, MKU invited applications from suitably qualified, visionary, competent, dynamic and experienced professionals with impeccable track records to fill the various Academic positions on a Part-time basis.
The positions are under the following categories: Associate Faculty (part-time), Adjunct Faculty, Clinical instructors and visiting Professors.
“Professionals only interested in supervision of postgraduate students and sabbatical are also encouraged to apply,” MKU said.
The vacancies are available in 13 schools and 44 departments are detailed below.

How to Apply for Mount Kenya University Jobs
Interested candidates should submit their applications through the Mount Kenya Online Recruitment Portal at: http://recruitment.mku.ac.ke no later than 1 April 2025.
Additionally, associate faculty, adjunct faculty and visiting professors currently serving the University and wish to continue should submit their applications through the same platform.
“All applications must be submitted through the MKU recruitment online portal,” MKU added.
MKU has encouraged people with disabilities, the marginalized and the minorities to apply for the vacancies.
Candidates with foreign qualifications Must attach qualification recognition from the Commission for University Education.
The University said it does not charge any fee for the whole recruitment and selection exercise.
MKU mentioned that it will contact only successful candidates, adding that any form of canvasing will lead to automatic disqualification.
