The Open University of Kenya has announced 61 job opportunities for academic and administrative staff positions.
In a notice on January 13, the Open University of Kenya invited interested and qualified applicants to apply, with the deadline set on February 2, 2026.
The University reminded applicants that it is an equal opportunity employer and therefore encourages applicants of either gender, youths, persons with disabilities, and those from marginalized areas to apply.

The vacancies are available across multiple schools and departments, including Academic and Research, which covers Teaching and Learning, Science and Technology, Business and Economics, Education, ICT, and Library Services, as well as Internal Audit and the Division of Planning and Infrastructure.

In the Teaching and Learning Directorate, OUK is recruiting a Deputy Director of Teaching and Learning specializing in Curriculum Design, Pedagogy, and ICT Applications in Education.
Within the School of Science and Technology, the University has vacancies for a Senior Lecturer in Computer Science, Lecturers in Computer Science, Tutorial Fellows in Computer Science, and Research Assistants in Computer Science.
There are also openings for a Lecturer in Mathematics, a Lecturer in Statistics, and Tutorial Fellows in Mathematics/Statistics.
Additionally, the School is recruiting a Lecturer in Community Health Nursing, a Tutorial Fellow in Midwifery, a Lecturer in Agricultural Economics, Sustainable Food Production, or Agriculture and Biotechnology, and a Tutorial Fellow in General Agriculture, Agricultural Economics, Sustainable Food Production, or Agriculture and Biotechnology.
