Beauttah Siganga Alukhava is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, a Senior Counsel, an experienced litigator, and a legal educator.
He is a partner at Siganga and Njora, Advocates LLP, specializing in civil and commercial litigation, and has previously served as the chairperson of the Advocate Complaints Commission.
Siganga is recognized for his expertise in ethics and mediation, and in 2022, he was a candidate for the Court of Appeal.
Early Life and Educational Background
Beauttah completed his post-graduate legal training at the Kenya School of Law between 1986 and 1987, culminating in his admission as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.
The legal practitioner pursued his undergraduate law degree from 1983 to 1986.
Specialized Training- Throughout his career, Siganga has undergone extensive training in Mediation and Professional Ethics, and in these areas, he now serves as a leading practitioner and educator.

In later roles, Siganga has served on the Board of Management of Kisumu Day High School, suggesting a long-standing commitment to the development of secondary education in Kenya.
His early professional years were marked by a focus on the integrity of the bar, which eventually led to his appointment as a Guest Lecturer at the Kenya School of Law, where he now teaches the very curriculum he studied in the late 1980s.

Following his graduation from the University of Nairobi in 1986 and completion of his post-graduate diploma at the Kenya School of Law in 1987, he was admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.
He established himself as a formidable litigator and eventually founded Siganga & Njora Advocates LLP, which later expanded to have a significant presence in both Nairobi and Kisumu, specializing in civil, commercial, and administrative law.
Siganga served as the Chairperson Advocates’ Complaints Commission (ACC), a critical division within the Office of the Attorney General, where he oversaw the investigation of hundreds of complaints against advocates, championing efforts to see the ousting of rogue lawyers and restore public trust in the profession, a role he held until 2023, when a new commission was sworn in.
In 2020, he was officially conferred the rank of Senior Counsel (SC) by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

In 2022, he made a significant step in his legal career when he was shortlisted and interviewed by the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) for the position of Judge of the Court of Appeal.
The senior counsel still serves as a Guest Lecturer in Professional Ethics at the Kenya School of Law and has served as the Head Juror for the Nairobi Legal Awards for multiple editions, including the 3rd edition in 2020.
Siganga’s influence extends beyond the courtroom through his leadership in various professional and social boards:
Prison Fellowship Kenya (PF Kenya)- he currently serves as a Board Member of this body, focusing on justice and rehabilitation within the penal system.
The Rotary Club of Milimani, serving as a prominent leader within the Rotary District 9212, where he has been a Past President and chaired the Governance & Ethics committee.
He serves as a Trustee for New Life Home Trust, a baby rescue center, highlighting his philanthropic commitment to vulnerable children.
Safe Water & AIDS Project (SWAP) – he is a director for this organization and addresses public health and sanitation challenges in Kenya.
