King Cyrus, popularly known online as “Riggy G Junior” and “Gachagua Mdogo,” is a middle-aged man who resembles former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
The Kenyan man, who lives in the United States, first attracted attention at a diaspora event in Seattle, where he met former Machachari actor Malik Lemuel, popularly known as Govi.
On September 6, the two met in Washington and shared videos on social media, causing online buzz.
Who Is King Cyrus?
Cyrus is a middle-aged Kenyan living in the United States whose real name is Cyrus Kinuthia Ndung’u. He became known publicly as King Cyrus and has also been referred to as “Riggy G Junior” and “Gachagua Mdogo” because of his resemblance to the former Deputy President.
Gachagua said his look-alike is from Kikuyu in Kiambu County. Ndung’u’s education, family, and career remain limited to the public.

Cyrus’ popularity began after a video recorded during an outdoor Kenyan diaspora festival in Seattle, Washington, went viral.
The comparisons were not based only on his facial appearance. His broad smile, facial structure, and general demeanor attracted attention, while his choice of a broad cowboy hat, plaid shirt, and brown trousers further reminded some viewers of Gachagua’s own casual style.
People at the event were heard jokingly calling him “DP” and pointing out that he looked like the former Deputy President.

His Life and Work in the US
Cyrus has continued to give followers glimpses of his life in America following his sudden rise to fame.
In one TikTok video, he showed what appeared to be a spacious white bungalow and a black SUV. He wore a white T-shirt and jeans, with a cowboy hat completing the look.
His occupation, however, remains less clear, and Cyrus has not publicly disclosed exactly what he does for a living in the United States.
Some of his older social-media posts have prompted speculation about possible involvement in agriculture because he has been photographed around what appears to be a large flower farm.
Other images have shown him around vehicles. Cyrus has also used his growing visibility to encourage people with businesses, projects, and side hustles to work with him to promote their ventures.
How the Gachagua Resemblance Made Him Famous

Kenyans gave him the affectionate nickname “Gachagua Mdogo,” while others referred to him as “Riggy G Junior.”
Former Machachari actor Malik Lemmy, also known as Govi, encountered Cyrus at the event and shared a photograph with him, adding to the attention surrounding the lookalike.
