Brayo is a Kenyan biker who gained popularity for maintaining anonymity in his creative work, always wearing a helmet to keep his identity unknown.
He is popularly referred to as Brayo Oyaaaah, a name derived from his response in multiple videos with the phrase ‘Oyaaaah’, while others identify him as Biker Nairobi.
According to Brayo, he chose to use a bike as a commuter rather than other vehicles, arguing that bikes are the easiest way to navigate the busy streets of Nairobi.
In addition to being a biker, Nairobi is a real estate agent and property manager by profession who uses a bike for his daily transportation.
“People often say that I am always on the road, but Brayo is a commuter; I use my bike to travel from my place, Rongai, to my workplace. The person you see on the internet is Yobra. Still, the one inside the helmet is a real estate agent,” Biker Nairobi clarified on his professionalism in an interview with Waigera.
He, however, noted that his love for bikes was not something he had from his prime days, but rather developed due to the conveniences bikes offer in the city traffic.

Brayo Bike Journey
Bike Nairobi’s first bike was a JINCHENG model with a 200 cc engine, which he purchased for KSh160, 000 and used for six months. At that time, however, he had not ventured into the content creation sector.
Later, he sold the bike and moved up to a new model as the biker community officially welcomed him.
As an influencer on the brand of his ride, Biker Nairobi has over 130,000 followers on Instagram and 150,000 on the TikTok.
Citing his followers and fan support, Brayo explained in the interview that his content creation started as an accident, which led to his current work.
According to the biker, he had bought an X2 camera out of necessity. Still, he ended up using it for content creation, later upgraded to an AE camera, and has since been gifted a camera and a selfie stick by a fan of his content, which he is currently using.
His popularity started from a section on the Ngong road during a crackdown when he was arrested and later posted the incident that blew up the internet, making him viral.
Using the same route from Rongai to Westlands, the public started recognizing him, and the popularity grew henceforth.
In addition to using the same route, the biker lost his TikTok account due to a violation of the platform guidelines, allegedly promoting dangerous activities, which led to mass following upon creating his new TikTok account.
Currently, Biker Nairobi is using a Chinese company Vogue Rally bike worth KSh 570,000, a 300 cc bike with 29 horsepower, for commuting and content creation.
