United States (US) President-Elect Donald Trump has started forming that will lead government operations during his second tenure at the White House.
Trump is already making key appointments as he prepares to take over from President Joe Biden.
Some have been appointed while others have been named pending approval from the Senate.
Trump’s picks for his second term are drawn from familiar, influential figures within his political sphere and some political newcomers.
The list so far includes four women who have been picked to serve under various categories in Trump’s government.
Trump 4 Women
Elise Stefanik
Trump has nominated Chairwoman Elise Stefanik to serve in US cabinet as Ambassador to the United Nations (UN).
In his appointment letter, Trump said Elise has always been his staunch advocate and was the first member of congress to endorse him.
“Elise is a strong and very smart America First fighter. She will be an incredible Ambassador to the United Nations, delivering Peace through Strength and America First National Security policies!” Trump said.
Stefanik emerged as Trump’s key ally during his first impeachment proceeding.
Susie Wiles
Trump picked Susie Wiles to be his White House chief of staff.
Wiles, who Trump referred to as the “ice maiden” in his election night victory speech, will be the first woman to serve as chief of staff.
Wiles served as Trump’s campaign manager for his 2024 run and has been credited for his victory.
The 67-year-old history working as a campaign strategist with Republican dates back to 1970s.

She worked under the late former New York Representative Jack Kemp back in the 1970s before working on Ronald Reagan’s 1980 presidential campaign.
Wiles also worked with Jacksonville Mayors John Delaney and John Peyton.
In 2010, she successfully led the campaigns for Rick Scott’s as Governor of Florida.
She briefly ran the 2012 presidential campaign of former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman before joining Trump’s team in 2016.
Linda McMahon
Former CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment Linda McMahon is one of the people appointed to oversee a transition team preparing for his return to power.
Linda McMahon, a who was once Trump’s administrator of the Small Business Administration, and Howard Lutnick, the CEO of financial services giant Cantor Fitzgerald, are set to co-chair the transition.
Trump’s running mate, Senator JD Vance and his sons Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. are set to serve as honorary chairs.
Kristi Noem
Trump appointed Governor and former Congresswoman from South Dakota, Kristi Noem, to serve as the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
He explained that Kristi has been very strong on Border Security and was the first Governor to send National Guard Soldiers to help Texas fight the Biden Border Crisis.
“I have known Kristi for years and have worked with her on a wide variety of projects – She will be a great part of our mission to Make America Safe Again,” Trump said.
Other Confirmed Appointment
Stephen Miller & Lee Zeldin
Trump has appointed his longtime advisor Stephen Miller as the deputy chief of staff for policy

Vance confirmed in a post on X, and he will be back to White House since his role does not require Senate confirmation.
Miller worked with Trump on his 2016 campaign and then joined him in the White House as a senior adviser.
Trump has picked Lee Zeldin to serve as the administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
Mike Waltz
Trumps has appointed Mike Waltz, as his national security advisor.
Waltza has been a member of Congress since 2019 and a Green Beret veteran who served in Afghanistan, the Middle East and Africa.
He is a member of the House’s China Task Force, along with the Armed Services, Foreign Affairs and Intelligence committees.
William Joseph McGinley
William Joseph McGinley will serve as my White House Counsel.
Trump described him as a smart and tenacious lawyer who will help advance America’s First agenda.
“Bill has served as General Counsel at the National Republican Senatorial Committee, has been a partner at two international law firms, and will work with me as we Make America Great Again!” Trump said.
Thomas D. Homan
Trump named Thomas D. Homan, a senior immigration official in his last administration, as the “border czar” in charge of the nation’s borders and its maritime and aviation security.
In the announcing Kristi Noem, Trump said, “She will work closely with “Border Czar” Tom Homan to secure the Border and will guarantee that our American Homeland is secure from our adversaries.”

John Ratcliffe
Trump nominated John Ratcliffe to lead the Central Intelligence Agency (C.I.A.).
He is a former Texas congressman and served as the director of national intelligence during Trump’s first term.
Pete Hegseth
He has been nominated to serve in Trump’s as The Secretary of Defense.
Trump said Pete has spent his entire life as a Warrior for the Troops, and for the Country.
“Pete is tough, smart and a true believer in America First. With Pete at the helm, America’s enemies are on notice – Our Military will be Great Again, and America will Never Back Down,” Trump said.
Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy
Tesla CEO Elon Musk and former GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy will lead a new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
