Popular Kenyan songstress, Avril, has deactivated her Instagram account, leaving fans in shock, a day after she exposed her baby daddy J Blessing over alleged assault.
Judith Nyambura Mwangi, popularly known by her alias Avril, posted a photo of her face badly bruised, tagging J Blessing in the post. However, she later deleted the post.
The photo elicited mixed reactions amongst her fans, with her audience sharing their opinions on the controversial post on social media.
Consequently, the songstress went back to her Instagram account asking fans to stop blaming the cinematographer, J Blessing.
“My heart is so heavy that I had to tell the world my business… I forgive you J. Please find it in your hearts to forgive him too. Everyone is deserving of forgiveness in this life,” Avril wrote.

“I recognize that our 7-year relationship and our journey as parents to an amazing little boy has faced challenges, and there have been conflicts that escalated into fights,” she continued, further stating that they would seek help as a couple.
“We recognize the need for change and are committed to seeking assistance and learning more effective ways to communicate and resolve problems,” Avril pleaded with her fans.
J Blessing apologizes to Avril
J Blessing issued an apology for the physical altercation with the mother of his child.
“I sincerely apologize for any harm I have caused Avril or any other person,” J Blessing stated in a highly pyblicized apology.
Further, the cinematographer clarified that they had agreed on a separation with Avril, and that it was in their best interests.
“I am a human being who has made mistakes in my life. Avril and I have agreed that it is best for both of us to stay away from each other to prevent such incidents from happening again,” J Blessing noted.
However, fans of the Chokoza hit maker did not take the pleas and apologies kindly.
Fans weigh in on the matter
Fans took to social media to note that the apologies were unwelcome.

Nonetheless, the deactivation of her Instagram account caught many by surprise.
