Media personality Carol Radull has made a radio comeback after two years. Best known for sports broadcasting, Radull has returned to the airwaves with the Playground Show on Spice FM.
Radull will host the show alongside Roy Karuhize and Kieni Githinji between 2 pm and 6 pm. The show talks about sports and current affairs.
In a statement, Radull announced that she would be part of the crew hosting the afternoon talk show.
“Make a date with us 2-6 pm LIVE on Spice to talk Sports or just to be entertained through countrywide frequencies on the Spice handle. We will also be live on YouTube, FB and X,” the announcement read in part.
Radull is a celebrated sports journalist and media personality. She has made notable contributions to the world of sports and the media industry.
Career Background
Carol has worked in several media houses. Before joining The Standard Media Group-owned station, Radull worked as a sports presenter at the Nation Media Group where she was hosting the Game Plan Show.
For 21 years, the presenter worked at the Radio Africa Group in various capacities including as the head of Bamba Sport. She had also served as the head of News at Kiss FM for 13 years.
Radull has also worked with the British Broadcasting Co-operation (BBC) as a producer. Prior to joining the BBC, she worked as a producer at Reuters Television.

Besides being in the media, Radull has been a great champion for local sports. She founded an initiative known as ‘Jaza Stadi’ which encourages people to attend local sports events and support local sports.

The plight of athletes
She has been vocal about the well-being of athletes through her social media platforms.
Recently, she highlighted the plight of the Women’s Amputee Football team that was stranded in Germany while on their way back home after taking part in the 2024 tournament.

In June 2020, she highlighted the challenges that sports personalities were facing owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This was as result of many of their events being cancelled. She also rallied for financial support for the boxing legend Conjestina Achieng from her followers.
She hails from Bondo, Siaya County.
