Ronoh is the only girl among three siblings, two boys, and her. Jeremy Kimutai and Dillany David Ronoh are her brothers.

She was born on June 15th, 2000, in Nairobi, Kenya, and she is a content creator, YouTuber, and Instagram influencer.

Education

Ronoh attended multiple primary schools, including Makini School in Nairobi, Kenya, and later transferred to Star Sheikh Academy located in Athi River, Kenya, where she did her Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE).

She did her Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) at Kenya High Secondary School in Nairobi.

Later, she went to Brookhouse School in Nairobi to pursue sciences, intending to become a doctor, where she did her pre-university course for six months.

She came to the realization that medicine was not her calling.

Career

After she left Brookhouse, she joined NRG Radio in May 2019 and replaced Elodie Zone, who had worked there for nine months. This made her the youngest radio presenter in Kenya.

She worked alongside Charlie Karumi and later quit the job to focus on her brand.

In November 2020, she joined Homeboyz radio and was co-hosting the breakfast show, “TheLiftOff,” alongside Neville and G-Money.

After working for a few months, she left.

She has a YouTube Channel with over 120,000 subscribers, where she published her first video on December 14, 2018.

The channel has accumulated five million views.

One of the biggest achievements she is proud of is making her first million Kenyan shillings at nineteen.

Appearing in a magazine and some newspapers, meeting her Kenyan idols and interviewing some, and becoming the fastest rising online creator are some of her most proud achievements. She shared all this in an Instagram post when she was celebrating her twentieth birthday.

Awards

In 2022, she won the YouTube Silver Play Button-Creator Award for reaching 100,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.

She was also recognized by SOMA Connect in the 2019 Women in Digital Awards for her comedy.

Facing Anxiety

While working at NRG Radio, she became famous, something that she wasn’t mentally ready for.

She started getting anxious when people stopped her on the road. At first, she didn’t know that it was anxiety until she started to panic whenever someone would say hi to her.

The anxiety was so bad that she would start breathing heavily, which led to drinking so much and blacking out as a coping mechanism.

The external pressure she felt led to her losing most of her friends.

At some point, she had an anxiety attack during a live TV interview on The Weekend Edition with Dr. Kingori on NTV.

In an interview with the Mic Cheque podcast, she said that when the drinking got worse, her family forcefully put her in rehab at Chiromo.

With time, she accepted that she had a problem, and she got the assistance she needed. When she got out, she relapsed again, but she decided to go sober and work on herself on her own.

Working out helped her focus on her sobriety, which she is still doing. She is also working on her weight loss journey.

Through her social media posts about her workouts, ice baths, comedy, and therapy talks, she inspires and helps individuals who might be struggling on their own.

She has also built her reputation as one of Kenya’s boldest and most relatable content creators, for she knows how to connect with her audience.
