The car has a 4.0L V8 biturbo engine with 463 horsepower at 5,250-5,500 and 516 lb-ft of torque at 2,000–4,000.
However, other engine options for the 2019 S-Class come with a 3.0L Turbocharged V6 and a 6.0L Turbocharged V12 (S680).
The car has a 9G-TRONIC 9-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system.

The sedan has a top speed of approximately 260 kph and can accelerate from 0-100kph in 4.6 seconds.

The Mercedes-Benz S560 prices in Kenya typically range from KSh 25 million to KSh 30 million, depending on specifications, optional features, model, and import duties.
However, it is not widely stocked by local dealers, hence limiting its availability.
The 2019 Mercedes-Benz S560 can be ordered through authorized Mercedes-Benz dealerships.

In his speech at today’s Jamhuri Day celebrations, President William Ruto reaffirmed his commitment to transforming Kenya into a first-world country.
The Head of State listed some of the key projects lined up for implementation in 2026, including the extension of the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) to Kisumu and Malaba, which he said will commence in February next year.

Also featured in his speech are plans to rehabilitate the Mombasa Road (lower deck) from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), which was affected by the construction of the Expressway.
