Egerton University Announces 23 Job Vacancies Across Multiple Departments, How to Apply

Egerton University has advertised 23 job vacancies across academic, administrative, and technical departments.

In a notice published on Friday, June 5, the University invited applications from qualified candidates in its bid to fill the vacancies in 23 positions. 

“Egerton University invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals with excellent credentials to fill the following posts,” Egerton University said.

Requirements

Chief Procurement Officer – Grade 15

• Master’s degree in Procurement or related field
• At least 10 years’ experience (5 in senior role)
• Certified Procurement and Supply Professional (CPSP-K) or its equivalent.

Chief Security Officer – Grade 13

• Masters in security studies, Criminology and Criminal Justice or a related discipline
• At least 10 years’ experience in security work

Registrar (Human Capital & Administration) – Grade 15

• PhD in Human Resource Management or related field
• Professional HR certification (CHRP-K)
• At least 10 years’ experience (5 senior level)

System Developer – Grade 11

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related field
• At least 3 years’ experience
• Skills in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Development

• PhD from a recognized institution
• At least 10 years’ experience in student affairs

University Chaplain – Grade 12

• PhD in Theology or related field

Interested and qualified candidates for senior positions (Grade 15) are required to send their application letters and attach academic certificates, transcripts, professional qualifications and curriculum vitae detailing their work experience, current post, names and addresses of three (3) referees to the email address: [email protected] and a copy to [email protected]

For the other positions (Grades 5 to 14), they must submit their applications through the university’s recruitment portal https://recruitment.egerton.ac.ke and send a soft copy (running PDF file) of the application to [email protected]
