The Eureka moment
Kojo vividly recalls a pivotal Sunday that changed everything.
“I remember when I was supposed to go to church with some friends, and I told them I could not go. I really want to stay by the charts and analyze the markets,” he shares.
It was during this moment of intense focus and curiosity that everything clicked for him. “All those years, I was particularly asking myself why the market turns where it turns and what it does before it turns. That Sunday was when everything just came all together. It was a eureka moment for me,” Kojo explains.
This realization marked the beginning of his deep connection with trading, affirming his belief that he was born to trade.
The pursuit of flexibility
Kojo’s journey into trading was fueled by the desire for independence and personal fulfillment.
“Right after school, I had the opportunity to work with a corporate firm. I personally didn’t feel like I fit in that environment,” he reveals.
Trading offered him a pathway to the independence he craved.
“I wanted more of the freedom and that came with trading.”
In 2012, Kojo began his trading journey, but it wasn’t an easy road.
“In between those years, it was a struggling moment for me, just learning and trying everything out,” he admits.

It wasn’t until 2019 and 2020 that things started to fall into place.
“I really got the light in 2019, 2020,” he says, reflecting on the transformative period when his efforts began to yield results.
Overcoming challenges to find satisfaction
During his earlier years in trading, Kojo grappled with dissatisfaction despite having freedom.
“During my struggling days, I was free, but I was not satisfied with where I wanted to be,” he shares.
The turning point came when he identified the tools and knowledge he needed to succeed.
“Learning through the rugs and finding exactly what I wanted elevated the process for me from there on.”
The recipe for achieving results
For Kojo, becoming a successful trader is a blend of natural talent and acquired knowledge.
“I think the recipe for a successful trader is a combination of the two: natural talent, being the inborn discipline and the intuition that comes with your natural ability and then the education part,” he explains.
He emphasizes the importance of seeking out valuable knowledge. “It’s about digging and finding resources that will make meaning to your trading analysis,” he says.
The ability to make quick and accurate decisions is what truly defines a born trader.
“For you to be able to have that judgement of making decisions within the shortest possible period of time, and being right as often as possible, is what really defines if you’re truly born to trade.”
