The Kenya Aviation Authority and the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority has listed organizations approved to offer specific aviation courses in the country.
In a notice on Tuesday, December 12, the authorities indicated that the organization were only allowed to offer the specific aviation courses that was listed on the notice.
Further, the aviation courses listed include PPL – Private Pilot’s License, CPL – Commercial Pilots License, ATPL- Airline Transport Pilot License, IR- Instrument Rating.
Others include FOD – Flight Operations and Dispatch, AMEL- Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License, FIR – Flight Instructors Rating.
Aviation Courses and Approved Institutions
On the other hand, East African School of Aviation located at Old Airport Road, Embakasi, is among those approved to offer FOD; ATC and AMEL courses.
Likewise, the Kenya School of Flying located at Wilson Airport; Malindi Airport; Orly Airpark was approved to offer PPL; CPL; ATPL; MULTI ENGINE; IR and FIR courses.
Standards Aviation institution located at Wilson Airport is allowed to offer PPL; CPL; ATPL and FIR courses.
Also, the Flight Training Centre located at Wilson Airport, Nyaribo Airstrip is accredited to offer PPL (A); CPL (A); ATPL; FIR; MULTI-ENGINE’ IR courses.

Additionally, the Ninety Nines Flying School at Wilson Airport is recognized to offer PPL, CPL; MULTIENGINE; IR; FIR and FOD courses, while Proactive Air Services at Wison Airport has the greenlight to offer PPL; CPL; MULTIENGINE and IR courses.

In addition, Aerolink Flight Centre located at Wilson Airport was approved to offer PPL, CPL and IR courses while Kenya Aeronautical College Flying School at Wilson and Malindi airport was approved to offer CPL; FOD courses.
Furthermore, Aerosafe African Consultants at Wilson Airport was approved to offer FOD course while, Nairobi Flight Training located at Wilson Airport was approved to offer PPL; CPL; ATPL; IR courses.

Pegasus Flyers (EA) Ltd located at Embakasi was approved to offer at Wilson Airport was approved to offer PPL course while KQ Pride Centre was approved to offer FOD courses.
