Joseph Kipng’etich earned a Diploma in Diplomatic Practice from the Foreign Service Institute in 2014. He holds a Master of Arts Degree in International Studies, which he obtained from the University of Nairobi in 2005.
In 2002, Joseph completed a Diploma in Management from the Kenya Institute of Management. Joseph also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in International Relations from the University of Nairobi, awarded in 1997.

His academic journey began with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Kenyatta University, which he received in 1994.
Career Background
Joseph Kipng’etich is a Lecturer of Political Studies and Global Governance. He served as Kenya’s Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany, also accredited to Romania and Bulgaria, from 2014 to 2019.
Between 2006 and 2014, he worked as a part-time lecturer at several institutions, including the United States International University, Egerton University, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, and Moi University.
From 2004 to 2011, Joseph served as Deputy Director and Administrator at the Centre for Linkages and International Programmes at Kenyatta University.
Previously, in his career, from 1994 to 2003, he held dual roles as Deputy Director and Administrator in the Senate Affairs Department and as Administrator of the Computer Department at Kenyatta University.
