Kenya Airways has announced the resumption of its flights between Nairobi and Dubai.
In a press statement dated 13th May 2026, the airline stated that flights will resume on May 14, 2026.
The national carrier also confirmed that services will operate daily, with plans to increase flight frequencies depending on passenger demand and operational requirements.
“We wish to inform our customers that flights to and from Dubai will resume on 14th May 2026. We will operate daily frequencies between Nairobi and Dubai, with additional frequencies to be introduced progressively in line with demand and operational requirements,” the statement read.
Kenya Airways suspended its flights to Dubai in February due to the conflict in the Middle East.
Daily Flights and Gradual Capacity Expansion
According to the Kenya Airways, scheduled flights will resume daily service between Nairobi and Dubai.

The airline noted that additional flights may be introduced progressively as demand increases and operational capacity allows.
The Nairobi–Dubai route is one of the carrier’s most strategic international connections, serving as a gateway for passengers connecting onward to destinations in Asia and the Gulf region.
The airline also confirmed that scheduling adjustments will be made in line with operational requirements and market recovery trends.
Safety Assurance and Customer Support Channels
Kenya Airways reaffirmed that passenger and crew safety remains its top priority as operations resume.
According to a statement issued on March 4, KQ announced flight following guidance from UAE authorities regarding the limited resumption of operations at Dubai International Airport (DXB) amid the Middle East Tension.
The airline stated that it continues to work closely with aviation regulators and other relevant authorities to ensure all safety and operational standards are fully met before and during the restart of flights.
“The safety of our guests and crew remains our top priority, and we continue to work closely with the relevant authorities to ensure safe and seamless operations,” read part of the statement.
Customers seeking bookings, travel information, or assistance have been advised to use the airline’s official digital platforms, including its website and the KQ Mobile App.
