The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has announced job opportunities for Kenyans, seeking experienced professionals to lead key departments at the national tax agency.
In a call for applications published on June 17, KRA is inviting qualified candidates to apply for 15 top-tier positions, including three Commissioner roles and 12 Deputy Commissioner posts.
The recruitment is being handled by PKF Kenya, with the deadline for applications set for July 7, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. EAT.
The new positions are part of KRA’s broader strategy to modernize its operations and improve service delivery as it strengthens compliance and expands its tax base.

How to Apply & Requirements
According to the notice, all posts require a high level of integrity, strategic thinking, and proven leadership experience.

Applicants must submit their applications online as hard copy submissions will not be accepted. PKF emphasized that no application fees are required at any stage of the process.
Successful candidates will be expected to present the following in line with Chapter Six of the Constitution:
- Valid certificate of good conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations.
- Valid clearance certificate from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).
- Valid tax compliance certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA).
- Current clearance certificate from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).
- Current report from an approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
