Every year, thousands of students across the country eagerly await the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Services (KUCCPS) placement results, hoping to secure a spot in their preferred courses and institutions.

But for many, the dream of joining a specific university or studying a particular course is often cut short by one major hurdle—cluster points.

With limited slots and high competition, some students find themselves locked out of top-tier institutions or competitive programs, not because they failed, but because they fall short of the required cluster points.

As a result, many are now exploring alternative paths—opting for the same courses in universities that demand lower cluster points.

In this article, we explore KUCCPS courses with the lowest cluster points and the universities offering them.
