Migori County government has announced vacancies for 83 positions. The county made the announcement through the Migori County Public Service Board in a notice dated November 22, 2024.
The county has called upon qualified and competent individuals to apply.
“The County Government of Migori, through the Migori County Public Service Board, invites applications from qualified and competent individuals to fill various vacant positions,” read a part of the notice.

Some of the positions include Directors for Public Health and Sanitation (1), Lands and Housing (1), Human Resource Management (1), Education (1), Internal Audit Services (1), Gender and Social Services (1), Agriculture (1), Water and Energy (1), and Deputy Directors for Environment (1).
Additionally, the Department of Public Service Management and Devolution is looking to fill vacancies for a Senior Ward Administrator for Muhuru Ward (1) and Security Wardens (20), Human Resource Management (1), Public Communication (1), and Trade (1).

In the Department of Health and Medical Services, several positions are open including Registered Clinical Officers II (5), Kenya Registered Community Health Nurses III (10), Occupational Therapists (2) and Health Records and Information Management Officers (2).
The Department of Health and Medical Services is also looking for Medical Laboratory Technologists (5), Pharmaceutical Technologists (4), Program Officers for HTS & PrEP (Tukicheki Partner Staff) (2), Treatment and TB/HIV (2), and PMTCT and SGBV/HIV (2).

The county is also hiring in the Department of Finance and Economic Planning whereby it seeks to recruit Revenue Clerks/Clerical Officers (5), while the Department of Education, Gender Inclusivity, Youth, and Sports Development is hiring Clerical Officers for Sports (3).

Also, applicants should submit their applications online by creating an account, selecting the desired position, completing the application form, and attaching academic and professional documents, along with a resume and application letter, as a single PDF file.
The county also notified applicants that the deadline for applications is Thursday, December 5th, 2024, at 5:00 PM. It also encouraged women, people living with disabilities, and marginalized groups are encouraged to apply.
It also stated that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted, and canvassing in any form will result in disqualification.
