INJECT Party Leader Morara Kebaso has alleged that the opposition is compromised, stating that one opposition leader receives money from the consolidated fund every week from the government.
Morara claims that the unnamed opposition leader receives Ksh2 million weekly and has frequent meetings with President William Ruto behind the scenes.
“Did you know that there is one opposition leader who receives Ksh2 million weekly, money from Consolidated Bank. Just the other day, he met with William Ruto to be his running mate in 2027, and he is in the opposition, faulting Ruto for extrajudicial killings?
During the night, he meets with William Ruto, pleading with him to appoint him as his running mate. He continues receiving money from the consolidated fund and has been given security by the government,” Morara alleged.
Morara Criticises Former President Uhuru Kenyatta
Additionally, Morara accused former President Uhuru Kenyatta—who has recently been urging the youth to stand up for their rights—of pretending to side with the people while maintaining vested interests in the government.

He claimed that Uhuru’s allies have secured several government appointments and that his businesses continue to benefit from state contracts.
“President Uhuru Kenyatta has four cabinet secretaries in government,” Morara alleged.
“Ako na waziri wanne ndani ya serikali, and in the opposition, he has two members, including DAP-K party leader Eugene Wamalwa and Fred Matiang’i. You say you want to change this country, yet the source of the problem wants to become the solution. How can Uhuru change Kenya? He cannot,” Morara asserted.
INJECT Party Leader Urges Youth to Vie for Political Positions
At the same time, the INJECT Leader called on the young people to vie for political positions in the 2027 general elections and eliminate the ‘old guard’ leaders who have governed the country for a long time.

He also urged the young people not to be discouraged from vying for political positions due to a lack of money, adding that if many voters contribute a little as Ksh 100 to their campaign kitty, that will be enough to support them until the time of voting.
“I am asking the young people to vie for positions in government to bring change. Don’t be discouraged by lack of money. Money is not everything, but it’s something. If 15 million voters contribute Ksh100 each, we will have Ksh1.5 billion. That’s enough to make us campaign and win the presidency. Just Ksh100 and we can win,” Morara said.
