Moses Kuria Details Why NYS Officers are the Best Employees
Further addressing the employment concerns, Kuria stated that he will ensure that parastatals give priority to the officers when looking to fill job vacancies.
He added that it was also a way for the service to remain sustainable and even make money in the long run.
“If the government of Kenya requires manpower it must start with NYS. But for us to do that, we must be sustainable.
“For me, the pillar of commercialization is important. These employers must pay NYS officers the same amount of money they spend on outsourced labor,” added the CS.
At the same time, he detailed that NYS officers were the best employees because they were disciplined and had better values and work ethics therefore saving companies a lot of money.
“I know that you are going to do a better job than other people. Companies can save money if they work with disciplined people.
“People who have the right socialization, people who have better values. A trained worker is better than somebody you have to train from scratch. And you will get these jobs not just locally but internationally,” he noted.
