Kenyan Comedian David Oyando, popularly known as Mulamwah, emptied his bank account to buy a Mercedes-Benz E250 which he proudly termed as his first car.
Hours after sharing through his social media accounts that he had acquired a new German machine, Mulamwah admitted that he had gone flat broke.
The comedian shared a screenshot of his account balance revealing that he was only left with Ksh66.17 after spending a fortune to buy the Mercedes.
“Bank balance baada ya benzo. Tunaanza fresh, yako ni ngapi?” Mulamwah wrote.
“This translates to this is my balance after purchasing the car. I’m going to start afresh. what is your balance?
A Mercedes-Benz E250 range from $48,070 to $109,340 for the 2019 range of models in Coupe and Sedan body types.

Mulamwah buys a Mercedes Benz
On March 21, 2024, Mulamwah took to social media to show off his German machine. In the post, he announced that he had just acquired his very first whip.
The comedian thanked God for enabling him to own the luxurious car. He also advised others to make slow but correct moves to make it in their lives.
“GOD DID it. I’m a proud car owner. Mercedes BENZ E250 innit. Always move slow but move correctly. Thanking God for all the blessings in life,” he wrote.
In addition, David Oyando thanked all his family members, fans and friends for their great support and encouragement to achieve him dreams.
“Let’s start life from here. Thanks to family, fans & friends for your support and prayers always,” he noted.
He bragged, stating that the son of Kitale is now a former pedestrian and his wife will now visit clinics in style.
“kijana ya kitale sasa ni former pedestrian. kalamwah na mama kalamaz clinic wanafika in style sasa . @atruthk thank you for the support always mamake,” Mulamwah shared.

In February 2024, Mulamwah also moved out of a Ksh9,000 bedsitter for a three-bedroom apartment following the birth of his baby days after they welcomed their first child together.
On February 10, 2024, the couple shared a social media announcement announcing the arrival of their first child.
