Nairobi City Marathon was scheduled for May 21 but was later postponed to July 2, due to a clash of dates with another charity race that was set for that same day.
“We were unaware of a different run happening on the same day across the road. In the true spirit of charity and sportsmanship, we are therefore happy to leave the day for them and push ours forward to allow them to meet their planned charity and community objectives,” the statement read.
