The National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) has released the official training and assessment dates for 2026 for accredited Industrial Training Centres and Government Trade Tests.
According to NITA, the notice targets trainees, trainers, and partners to help them plan.
“The Authority wishes to inform all esteemed clients that the approved consolidated training and assessment dates for Industrial Training Centres and Trade Test for the calendar year 2026 are as scheduled below,” read the NITA statement in part.
Additionally, they expressed gratitude to their stakeholders for the support offered.
“We appreciate the support of all our trainees, trainers, and partners. Please review the schedule and plan,” the organisation stated.
NITA Calendar of Events
Accredited Industrial Training Centres – 2026 Terms:
- Term 1: 6th January – 3rd April
- Term 2: 5th May – 31st July
- Term 3: 1st September – 27th November

Government Trade Test – 2026 Series:
- April Series: 13th – 25th April
- August Series: 10th – 22nd August
- December Series: 1st – 19th December
NITA clarified that training dates for demand-based industrial programmes will be agreed between the training centre and the employer.
“Training dates for demand-based industrial training programmes will be as agreed between the Industrial Training Centre and the individual employer,” the notice stated.
Assessment dates for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), Homecare Management, Caregivers, and other skills upgrading programmes will be issued later.
