The National Transport Authority (NTSA) has announced changes to the application process of the new reflective number plates.
In a statement, the authority indicated that the move was meant to improve service efficiency, adding that the process of application had been reduced.
When an application is approved, the motorist will receive an SMS notification asking them to collect their plates from the centers indicated during application.
“Motorcycle or motor vehicle owners will receive SMS notifications upon verification and approval of the applications.
“We request motor vehicle owners who have received SMS alerts on collection of reflective number plates to visit the centers they identified during the application process,” a statement from the authority read in part.
