A light aircraft carrying tourists crash-landed at Olkiombo Conservancy airstrip in Maasai Mara, Narok County, on Monday, June 1, at around midday.
Narok County Police Commander Patrick Loboloa confirmed there were no casualties in the incident.
Preliminary reports indicate the aircraft suffered a tyre burst on the runway, forcing it to veer off before making a crash-landing.
The plane was reportedly en route from Nairobi to the Maasai Mara, though the number of passengers on board remains unclear.
Investigations are ongoing.
A crash-landing is when an aircraft lands in an emergency and sustains damage, even though the pilot keeps control of the plane during touchdown.
