Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, on Saturday November 4, called out President William Ruto for supporting Israel in the ongoing war with Palestine.
In his statement, Raila stated that leaders should condemn the oppression and brutality in Palestine by the Israeli Government.
Specifically, he called out President William Ruto asking him to condemn the brutality in which the Palestinians are facing from Israel adding that he should speak about the inhumane nature of the war.
“I want to urge Mr. Ruto, don’t be misled to condemn your own brothers and sisters don’t be silent in face of humanity that is being meted against the people of Palestine,” he stated.
According to the ODM leader the Kenyan Government should stand with Palestine as it is the group being oppressed.

Ruto Supports Israel
In a statement in October, when the Israel-Palestine conflict escalated, President Ruto condemned the attacks, noting that Kenya doesn’t support terrorism, vowing to stand with Israel.
“Kenya joins the rest of the world in solidarity with the State of Israel and unequivocally condemn terrorism and attacks on innocent civilians in the country,” he said.
The President also called for a reduction in violence and asked all parties concerned to refrain from taking any further military action.
