Geoffrey Rigathi Gachagua on Tuesday, September 13 took oath as the second Deputy President of Kenya.
Rigathi took the oath of the assumption of office, beginning with the Oath of Allegiance of the Deputy President.
The oath of allegiance was administered by Chief registrar of Judiciary Anne Amadi in the presence of Attorney General Paul Kihara.
Moreover, Rigathi Gachagua also took the oath of the Due Execution of the Office of the Deputy President.

Likewise, the Gachagua was accompanied by his wife Pastor Dorcas Rigathi.
Furthermore, Rigathi Gachagua comes in second to occupy the office of the Deputy President of Kenya, which was first occupied by current President William Ruto.
Nevertheless, after being sworn into office, Rigathi and his wife Pastor Dorcas posed for a photo on the dais at Kasarani Stadium.
