In an announcement issued on May 28, 2026, the Selection Panel for the recruitment of nominees for appointments as members of the Public Service Commission has released a list of shortlisted candidates and scheduled interviews to be conducted at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi from June 8 to June 10, 2026
Shortlisted candidates have been requested to attend an interview. Original identification documents, academic certificates, and clearance certificates from state institutions will be expected from the candidates.
These vacancies, earlier announced for commissioner positions, were a result of the lapse in tenure of some, and to fill staffing gaps across Ministries, Departments, and Agencies, ensuring continuity and effective government service delivery
The Public Service Commission, under Article 233 of the Constitution of Kenya, is charged with ensuring that recruitment, promotion, and discipline in the country’s public service are properly managed.
A total of one hundred and seventeen (117) applications were received at the close of the advertisement period, which was on 15th May 2026, and after careful consideration by the panel, the following 19 candidates were shortlisted pending interviews
