Kenyan musician Stevo Simple Boy collapsed on stage during an interview with 10/10 show host on Citizen TV.
Stevo was having a wonderful time throughout the show and had been captured dancing and hyping up the crowd, together with the hosts, Azeezah Hashim and Gudah Man.
After performing two of his songs- Freshi Barida and Vichuna, the host Azeezah started engaging the singer in some follow-up questions.
Azeezah first asked him about the reception he received back at home since his fame when he suddenly leaned forward and supported himself by holding onto his knees.
“You went to school in Oyugis and then later came to Nairobi in Kibera where you began your career. What kind of reception do you get back in Oyugis?” asked Azeezah.
“They people of Oyugis appreciate me because I started singing at a very young age,” he responded.
A few seconds later, the singer fell on the floor with his back on the ground.
Immediately after his fall, the host alerted the production team, and the show went on a commercial break.

Stevo Speaks After Recovery
Afterwards, the host, Azeezah announced that the singer was in recovery and had regained consciousness.
She also engaged Stevo in a phone interview on live television to allow his fans to hear directly from him.
“The fans were worried about you because they saw that you were not alright a few minutes ago. We just want to confirm that everything is alright,” said Azeezah.
The singer announced that he was feeling better and would give further updates on his Instagram page.
“Right now I am feeling alright. I will say more on my Instagram page. I want to thank my fans for their support,” Stevo Responded.

Date With Betty
The singer had recently made headlines after going on a date with former TV anchor Betty Kyalo.
Their dinner caused mixed reactions among Kenyans as the two shared several photos of themselves.
Additionally, it was revealed that Stevo had been charming Betty for a while online, asking for a chance to have dinner with her.
In the snapshots, Stevo had worn a tailored pearl white suit paired with sleek black trousers and matching shoes.
