Kirinyaga County has a total of 376,001 registered voters, according to the latest data from the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).
The county is divided into four constituencies, each represented in the National Assembly and led by lawmakers affiliated with the United Democratic Alliance (UDA).
Mwea Constituency leads in voter registration with 131,714 voters. The area is represented by Mary Maingi, a member of the UDA party.
Gichugu Constituency follows with 92,495 registered voters and is under the leadership of Gichimu Githinji, also of UDA.

In Ndia Constituency, 69,743 voters are registered. The area is represented by George Kariuki, who, like his colleagues, is affiliated with the ruling UDA party.
