Nyeri County has a total of 481,632 registered voters, according to the latest data from the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).
The voter distribution spans six constituencies, with Kieni constituency recording the highest number of registered voters at 114,573.
Mathira follows with 104,492 voters, while Nyeri Town has 87,168. Othaya constituency has 61,879 registered voters, and Mukurweini comes in close with 58,534.
Tetu, the least populated in terms of registered voters, has 54,986.

The entire county is currently represented in Parliament by members of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA), the ruling party as of the 2022 general election.
The six Members of Parliament are Geoffrey Wandeto Mwangi for Tetu, Antony Njoroge Wainaina for Kieni, Eric Mwangi Kahugu for Mathira, Michael Wambugu Wainaina for Othaya, John Philip Kaguchia for Mukurweini, and Duncan Maina Mathenge for Nyeri Town.
