The United States (US) has published a list of 45 Kenyans identified for detention and deportation over alleged immigration violations.
The names of the said Kenyans appear in a database dubbed the “Worst of the Worst,” launched in December last year to track illegal immigrants who have been arrested or convicted of crimes across all 50 US states.
It provides details, including mugshots, countries of origin, and the offenses committed by those listed.
US Lists 45 Kenyans Flagged for Deportation in Immigration Crackdown
The US Department of Homeland Security stated that it is “highlighting the worst of the worst criminal aliens arrested by the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
“Under DHS leadership, the hardworking men and women of DHS and ICE are fulfilling President Trump’s promise and carrying out mass deportations – starting with the worst of the worst – including the illegal aliens you see here,” read the report in part.

A review of the database shows that the 45 Kenyans have been linked to a wide range of serious crimes, including drug trafficking, armed robbery, homicide, assault, child molestation, and cruelty towards a child.
Other offenses cited in the records include aggravated assault with a weapon, making terror-related threats, money laundering, cheque forgery, fraud, kidnapping of a minor, violation of court orders, and receiving stolen property.
Some of the individuals have also been accused or convicted of driving under the influence, domestic violence, robbery, and attempting to evade prosecution.
