United States of America President Joe Biden has sparked concern after appearing to freeze during Juneteenth celebrations at the White House.
In a video seen by The Kenya Times, Biden appeared to momentarily freeze during the concert remaining in the same position for almost a minute as Vice President Kamala Harris, Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff and others danced to the energetic band playing at the event.
The head of state who was standing next to Philonise Floyd, brother of the late George Floyd appeared to stand almost completely still.
However, Philonise eventually noticed Biden’s pause and extended his arm to him as if to offer support.
As such, he managed to elicit a response when he raised his fist for a ‘fist bump’, which the president reciprocated.
Thereafter while giving a speech addressing the attendees of the event, Biden also began to slur his words.
“The day reminds us that we have a hell of a lot more work to do. Let’s keep marching. Let’s keep the faith,” Biden addressed the crowd.

Netizens React
Following the viral video, a section of netizens weighed in on the matter with some pointing out that he needed urgent care while others felt that he shouldn’t run another term in office.
Itz_Olajerry while conveying support for the President Biden noted that he needed medical attention.
“This our president is in need of medical attention. I stand with Biden any day,” she said.
Jinyojr felt that Biden might be suffering from Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS), a rare and progressive neurological disorder that causes muscle rigidity and painful spasms. It’s also known as stiff-man syndrome or Moersch-Woltman syndrome.

President Joe Biden Cognitive Decline
In another incident prior to the White House event, the 81-year-old, appeared to look zoned out while attending a D-Day commemoration event in Normandy alongside French President Emmanuel Macron.
A section of law makers and staff members, from both the Republican and Democrat parties expressed concerns over Biden’s recent misfortunes which they reportedly found alarming.
Reports indicate that some officials have previously noted that they struggle to grasp some of his words as they noted that he now speaks so softly.
