Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti conducted an audit on all County vehicles in an attempt to streamline the Transport Department.
Moreover, Ndeti stated that she plans to also take a stock of the County Government motor vehicle inventory.
Nonetheless, during the audit exercise, Governor Ndeti established that several vehicles did not have number plates. In addition, some tractors had their numbers printed on a piece of paper.
According to Ndeti, the exercise was aimed at harmonizing the human resource capacity with the existing fleet of county vehicles.
Thence, taking stock on all grounded and missing Government vehicles.
Furthermore, Ndeti added that necessary action would be taken to those went against the law.
Moreover, she urged county workers to make sure that efficient and quality service is delivered across all sectors.
Likewise, Governor Ndeti visited Machakos level 5 hospital, where she cautioned health workers who have been involved in sabotaging efforts of the county to provide the best health care.
This was after she received a consignment of drugs and medical supplies from KEMSA.

Nonetheless, the governor, assured residents that she will work round the clock to ensure Machakos County provides the best health services in the country.
Ndeti further asked all pharmacies and health facilities that neighbor Machakos level five to cease from buying medical supplies from the public facility.
