The popular messaging app WhatsApp has introduced a new feature to allow users to edit their Channel updates for up to thirty days after sharing them.
“There is a thirty-day time limit for editing messages. Edited channel updates will have the word “edited” next to the timestamp and will be shown to everyone viewing channel,” noted WhatsApp.
Moreover, WhatsApp explained that editing a channel update will not send a notification to people following a user’s channel.
“You can’t edit photos, videos or other types of media,” said WhatsApp.
