Mbithe holds a Master of Laws from the University of Nairobi, earned in 2008.
In 1999, she earned a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Nairobi.
She gained a Global Executive Master of Business Administration from the United States International University (USIU) in 2017.

Jacqueline Mbithe Mwinzi Muindi has a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law, which she bagged in 2000, before being admitted to the Roll of Advocates in 2001.
Mbithe Mwinzi’s Work Experience
To date, she has served as the Deputy Solicitor General in the Office of the Attorney General and the State Department of Justice since 2024.
In 2023, Mbithe was the Deputy Chief State Counsel & Acting Head of Government Transactions at The National Treasury and Economic Planning before leaving in 2024.
2019 – 2023, she was the Deputy Chief State Counsel and Head of Legal Unit at The National Treasury and Economic Planning.

From 2018 to 2019, she served as the Senior Principal State Counsel at the Office of the Attorney General and the State Department of Justice.
Between 2014 and 2018, she worked as the Chief Manager of Legal Affairs & Corporation Secretary at the Privatization Commission.
Mbithe Mwinzi was the Principal State Counsel at the Office of the Attorney General and the State Department of Justice between 2011 and 2014.
2008 – 2011, Mbithe worked as the Senior State Counsel at the State Law Office.
In 2004, she served as State Counsel I at the Office of the Attorney General, leaving the office in 2008.
