Police officers in Kibra arrested four women for allegedly bribing voters.
Three of the suspects were apprehended at the Toi Primary School polling station. The arrest came after local elders found them trying to influence the ongoing voting exercise
Likewise, the fourth individual was apprehended at Kenyatta market station after committing the same offense.
However, upon cross-examination by the authorities, the suspects claimed they were agents allied to UDA candidates in the Kibra parliamentary contest, MacDonald Mariga.
Furthermore, Kibra deputy county commissioner Gideon Ombogi while confirming the arrests said the three are in police custody at the Kibra police station.
In addition, Mr. Ombogi stated that they have launched further investigations to determine the person behind the vice.

Nonetheless, Local leaders monitoring the voting exercise in Kibra have raised concerns over insatiable voter bribery.
They called upon the police officers to step up their vigilance.
