Parliamentary elections for Rongai constituency have been temporarily suspended after a mix-up in the MPs ballot papers.
Nakuru County IEBC Manager Joseph Mele said they are waiting for further direction from the IEBC headquarters.
Reports indicate that some of the parliamentary ballot papers were taken to Kuresoi while other were completely missing.
However, polling for other positions is ongoing
The discrepancy was noted at 3am when presiding officers went to collect the ballot papers.
The constituency has over 84,000 registered voters.

On Monday, IEBC postponed gubernatorial elections in Kakamega and Mombasa after anomalies were detected in the ballot papers.
Pokot South constituency also suffered after parliamentary elections were suspended over similar reasons.
IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati said the commission will announce new dates for elections in the affected areas.
