Beihang University in China has announced fully funded scholarships for Kenyans and other international applicants for its 2026 intake.
According to the university’s statement, the program welcomes students from all nationalities to apply for the Chinese Government Scholarship and pursue fully funded Master’s or Doctoral degrees.
“Applications are now open for the Beihang University CSC Scholarship 2026 in China. The program welcomes international students from all backgrounds to apply for the Chinese Government Scholarship and pursue a fully funded Master’s or Doctoral degree,” read the university’s notice.
The opportunity targets the 2026–2027 academic year and offers students a chance to study at one of China’s leading research universities at no cost.
Beihang University, Based in China, Announces Scholarship Opportunities
Beihang University noted that postgraduate applicants will have access to a wide selection of academic programs, including engineering, sciences, management, and interdisciplinary studies, designed to support diverse educational and career goals.
The CSC scholarship covers all major expenses, allowing students to focus entirely on research and professional development. Master’s programs typically run for two to three years, while PhD programs take around four years.

Students admitted under the scholarship will receive a monthly stipend of 3,000 RMB (KSh 54,000) for Master’s programs and 3,500 RMB (KSh 64,000) for PhD programs.
Other Financial Benefits Include:

- Free on-campus accommodation (or a housing allowance if unavailable)
- Comprehensive medical insurance for all international students
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be non-Chinese citizens in good physical and mental health
- Be from any country outside China
- Demonstrate strong academic performance and research potential
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree and be under 35 years old for Master’s programs
- Hold a Master’s degree and be under 40 years old for PhD programs
