The Jubilee Party is a registered political party in Kenya and one of the country’s most established political movements.
As part of its grassroots mobilization and membership growth, Jubilee Party allows eligible Kenyans to join and participate in party affairs.
To qualify for membership, an individual must have
- Attained the voting age of 18 years
- Have a valid National Identification Card or a Kenyan passport
- Not be an active member of another political party at the time of registration.
- Be willing to abide by the Jubilee Party Constitution and Code of Conduct.
Jubilee Party Membership Registration Process
Jubilee Party members can be registered through three main methods:
- Registration through the party’s official website
- Registration through the ORPP USSD system
- Physical registration through the party offices

- Online Registration Through Jubilee’s Website
Interested members can register through the Jubilee Party’s official website.
The process involves:
- Log in to the party’s official registration website
- Filling in membership details, including full name, ID number, phone number, county, constituency, and ward
- Applying verification
- Awaiting confirmation via SMS
Once approved, the applicant is entered into the party’s membership register.
- Register Via USSD (ORPP System)
Kenyan law requires all political party memberships to be recorded by the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP).
To join Jubilee Party via USSD:
- Dial *509# on your mobile phone
- Register to obtain your ORPP PIN if you do not already have one
- Select Membership
- Choose Join a Party
- Enter Jubilee Party when prompted
- Provide your county, constituency, and ward codes
- Confirm your details to complete registration
Once approved, the Jubilee Party becomes your official political party of membership.
How to Deregister as a Jubilee Party Member
Deregistration must be completed before joining another political party.
A member who wishes to leave the Jubilee Party may deregister by:
- Dial *509#, selecting Membership, then Resign from a Party, and following the prompts.
- Writing formally to the Jubilee Party through its official offices, requesting removal from the membership register.
Jubilee Party Membership Fees & Charges
Jubilee Party membership fees are nominal and may vary depending on membership category and party decisions at the time of registration.
The party charges KSh 20 for its membership card.
All payments, where applicable, are made through party-approved official channels.

How to Vie on a Jubilee Party Ticket
Jubilee Party allows eligible members to contest for elective positions under its party ticket, subject to:
- The Jubilee Party Constitution and nomination rules
- The Political Parties Act
- Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) regulations
Eligibility to Vie on a Jubilee Party Ticket
To qualify as a Jubilee Party aspirant, one must:
- Be a registered Jubilee Party member in good standing
- Have been a party member for the minimum period required before nominations
- Be a registered voter in the relevant electoral area
- Meet all IEBC constitutional requirements for the intended elective seat
- Not be a member of another political party at the time of nomination
- Agree to abide by Jubilee Party nomination rules, code of conduct, and dispute resolution mechanisms
Jubilee Party Nomination Fees
Nomination fees are set by the party during election cycles and may vary.
Official nomination fees are always communicated through Jubilee Party notices during nomination periods.
For the 2017 and 2022 general elections, the party charged the following nomination fees.
