The National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA) has announced 35 vacant positions across key departments for Kenyans.
In a statement on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, NACADA stated that applicants must quote the relevant job reference number on both the application and the envelope and submit their documents by Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at 5.00 p.m. East Africa Time.
“Qualified candidates are invited to apply to the address below, quoting the Job Ref. No, on both the application and envelope,” read part of the statement.
The vacancies include 30 Compliance Officers, 1 Office Administrator, 2 Accountants, 1 Corporate Communications Officer, and 1 Records Management Officer.
Therefore, interested candidates are required to submit a detailed Curriculum Vitae, copies of academic and professional certificates, relevant testimonials, and a copy of their National Identity Card.
NACADA’s Announced Vacancies and How to Apply
NACADA has listed 35 vacancies across five key departments to strengthen its nationwide operations.
According to NACADA, the largest number of openings is in the Compliance Officer role, where 30 positions are available under Ref No. NACADA/CO/1/1/2026.
The authority is also seeking to recruit one Office Administrator (Ref No. NACADA/SOA/2/1/2026) and two Accountants (Ref No. NACADA/ACCT/3/1/2026) to support its administrative and financial functions.

In addition, one Corporate Communications Officer (Ref No. NACADA/CCO/4/1/2026) and one Records Management Officer (Ref No. NACADA/RMO/5/1/2026) will be hired to enhance public engagement and records management.
Also, NACADA said detailed job descriptions and qualifications for each position are available on its official website, allowing applicants to assess the requirements before submitting their applications.
However, Interested and qualified candidates are required to submit their applications in hard copy to the Chief Executive Officer at NACADA, located at the NSSF Building, Block A, Eastern Wing, 18th Floor, P.O. Box 10774-00100 GPO, Nairobi.
NACADA has highlighted that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted, and any form of canvassing will result in automatic disqualification.
Qualifications and Salary for a Compliance Officer
A Compliance Officer must hold a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Public Health, Biochemistry, Epidemiology, Community Health, Medical Sciences, or Library and Information Science from a recognized institution.
A candidate interested in senior roles should have a master’s degree in a related field such as Monitoring and Evaluation, Public Administration, Project Management, or Public Health.
A candidate must meet all the requirements set out in Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya on Leadership and Integrity and hold membership in a relevant professional body.

They should also have a certificate in a leadership course from a recognized institution.
However , for senior roles, candidates are expected to have at least eight years of relevant work experience, including three years in management and prevention programs.
Candidates must also demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent report-writing abilities, effective communication, public speaking, and presentation skills.
The basic salary for a Compliance Officer ranges from KShs. 76,400 to KShs. 118,400, depending on experience and position.
