In Trans Nzioa, incoming governor George Natembeya has only 9 MCAs on his side while Kenya Kwanza has majority MCAs at 15
In Samburu, Governor-elect Jonathan Leleliit was elected on a UDA ticket. Rival alliance Azimio has majority MCAs at 9, while Kenya Kwanza has six.
In West Pokot, Governor Simon has 9 MCAs on his side while Azimio has ten MCAs.
In Turkana County, the assembly has 19 MCAs from Kenya Kwanza while Governor-elect Jeremiah Lomurkai comes from the minority ODM party. His Azimio movement has 8 MCAs.
Andrew Mwadime of Taita Taveta faces a House with 11 out of 20 elected MCAs under Azimio, while 7 are from Kenya Kwanza alliance.
In Meru, newly elected Governor Kawira Mwangaza, an independent will face a county assembly with 25 MCAs from Azimio in the majority while Kenya kwanza has only 14 MCAs with 5 others elected as independents.
At the Coast, Lamu’s first governor Issa Timamy has made a comeback to a House whose majority is in an opposing camp. Azimio has five MCAs while the governor’s Kenya kwanza alliance has three.
